Brand has lots of experience in this position as he did serve as Superintendent from 1995-2005 (for the past 3 years he has been working in the Real Estate industry). With a
ll this movement in our school board- many of the 50+ parents and employees of the district are wondering- "where is this money for all this coming from with all the budget cuts?" Gandara is receiving a severance package of $416,675 and Brand's monthly compensation is $20,000 for the next year and will be looked at again for either permanent employment for appointment of another Superintendent. Brand did say this to the many spectators, politicians, board members and parents
“My pledge is to restart the engine, and in refocusing our efforts we’ll be back on the top of the hill in no time at all.”
