Celebrating Chula Vista's Centennial!


The Birthday festivities continue!!! "The City of Chula Vista, in partnership with the United States Olympic Training Center, Chula Vista (OTC), announces the city’s Centennial Celebration will be hosted on the scenic OTC campus on Saturday, October 15, 2011.

Admission to the event, commemorating Chula Vista’s 100th anniversary, is free and open to the public. Residents and visitors are encouraged to check out ChulaVista100.com and “friend” the Centennial Facebook page to receive the latest updates."

So get ready Chula Vista to celebrate the roots of Chula Vista with a Lemon Zest Tasting from local restaurants, live music and entertainment and much much more!!! You can take a break and relax with friends in the Craft Brew & Cocktail Garden as well!

There is also a Chula Vista Centennial Book thats has lots of pictures and history about our great community! Scott McMillin, Chairman of the Board at the Corky McMillin Companies had this to say about the Centennial Book "It was great to see pictures of my Dad and many others that contributed to this community!" Lets not forget our celebrity youth, The Park View Little League boys!!! Kim Peterson who's son is photographed with the PV boys says "So proud of all the boys, its awesome that they get to be apart of Chula Vista's history!".
